Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library

The archives stored at the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library provide a look into the vast contributions of the African American community in Denver. Located in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood, the library collects photographs, manuscripts, letters, oral histories and more. “To be a part of something this unique in this part of the country is just an honor because there’s so much rich history here,” said Charleszine “Terry” Nelson, the special collection and community resource manager. Terry gives #IAmDenver a look inside and shares why a library such as this is so important.
